Firefighting team of the Awainat office successfully completed the intensive training program

Sunday 19-6-2022, at the Operations Office of the Erawin Field in Awainat, the activities of the training course for the firefighting team program were launched and continued until Thursday 23-6-2022.

The course is supervised by the Health, Safety and Environment Department of Zallaf Libya and implemented by a team of trainers and experts from Mellitah Oil and Gas Company.

The training program includes information about the types of fires and how to deal with them, in addition to practical experiences of dealing in case of emergency.

Within the program prepared for the course, the participants learned how to operate fire engines, divide the tasks and techniques used to extinguish fires at oil sites.

Through this program, important information about the ventilator system and how to use it correctly, especially in emergency and rescue cases, were learned.

A field visit to the Erawan and Sharara fields

In a step towards achieving one of the company’s strategic objectives for the year 2022.

A joint team formed from the Engineering and Projects Department and the contractor executing the Erawin field development project (Petrofac), in addition to engineers of Akakus Oil Operations Company, a field visit was conducted to the sites of the Sharara and Erawin fields. The trip lasted for four days (from June 12 to 15), the main purpose of which was to conduct a field visit to the company’s sites in the Erawan field and the Sharara field (NC-115B), during which the connection point and the most appropriate path for the oil pipeline from the company’s site in the Sharara field were determine. To the crude oil collection tank of the NC-115 B station, the most appropriate path for the power and automatic control cables necessary to connect with the station (NC-115 B) for the supply of electricity and the safe operation of the two stations has also been determined.

 During this visit, the team headed to the target wells which will to start production in the Erawan field (E-1, E4, E5, & E-7) and the pipeline storage yard in the field.

It was four busy days, and the results were very successful, according to a statement obtained by the Office of Sustainable Development and Media.

MMC for Engineering and Projects, conducted a site visit to the Sharara oil field, companied by Zallaf Operations Manager, Akakus Operations Manager and Erawin Field Manager

Upon arrival the delegates were received by the Sharara field manager, Mr. Mohammed bin Fayed.

And this visit comes to inspect the facility station B115, which is planning to be used for Zallaf Libya to transport crude oil from Erawin Field, and to see the optimal and safest operational method several ideas were discussed with the field administration and the technical staff, who were cooperative and ready to overcome all difficulties. its results will be referred to the management committee for implementation in the near future.

On this occasion The Management Committee of Zallaf Libya presents the highest meanings of thanks and gratitude for the cooperation and generous hospitality of Akakus Management Committee, Operations Management, and all employees.

After that, the MMC & the operation manager of Zallaf Libya visited the Erawin Field to follow up on the current activities, and the visit concluded with a tour of the company’s office in the Awinat area to inspect the office’s work and the services it provides.

 April 19, 2022, Mr. Chairman Eng. Hussein Abuselyana accompanied by members of the Management Committee, departments managers and coordinators, and the director of Petrofac, Libya

 Have landed in the Sharara field airport, The delegation was received by the Sharara field superintendent of Akakus Oil Operations, upon the arrival they headed to meet the commander of the force in charged of protecting the Sharara field, to discuss the final arrangements for providing protection and support along the pipeline route.

Then they, headed to the point of linking the N-field pipeline to the El Sharara field production line (Station 115B) and to see the construction site of the residential camp for Petrofac in the station, and the protection battalion camp.

 The delegation Then moved to the Erawin field and inspected the drilling rig on the E10 well, and the testing operations of the well currently underway, the 30 camp employees and the airstrip in addition to the target housing site for the Oil Facilities Guard and some other civil works.

As a result, the delegation headed to the company’s office in the Awainat. On the sidelines of the visit, The delegates joined the employees in the Awainat office and Erwin Field Iftar Ramadan, where was some issues and points related to the progress of work at the site were discussed.

The delegation also met with the municipal council and some dignitaries in the municipality of Awainat.

After completing a series of meetings, the delegation inspected on Wednesday morning the construction site of the South Refinery project, before heading to the Sharara field airport returning to Tripoli.

inspection visit to the Sharara Center for Training and Development

The team assigned to follow up the progress of the training project for 60 technicians from the southern regions concluded Friday, 4/8/2022, its fourth inspection visit to the trainees to the Sharara Center for Training and Development, which lasted for four days. In order to fully implement the training plan as planned, the assigned team made a detailed report on the progress of the training program, to be referred to the Training and Development Department.

Tuesday 5/4/2022. the Chairman of the Management Committee held a meeting with the member of the Management Committee for Projects and Engineering, Engineering Department Manager, ErawIn Field Project Manager, and the Project Coordinator, in the presence of a member of the Management Committee for Operations and Maintenance.

The meeting was to follow up the civil works progress of the camp in the field and the airstrip, and to find best solutions for any obstacles facing the projects to ensure their completion within the target dates.

In conclusion, Mr. Chairman. stressed the need for continuous communication between the departments in order to implement these projects in the Erwin Field, in preparation for the actual start of implementing the surface equipment and the pipeline laying.

In the context of providing all services and capabilities to the company’s users in the Erwin field and the surrounding areas, and under the supervision of the Communications and Information Technology Department, Almadar Aljadid, Ubari Post Office and Sabha Post Office, the completion stage has been achieved on the 22/3/ 2022, by connecting the fibre optic cable and provide coverage for the Almadar Mobile network. in Erawin field and Alawinat area in addition to covering the area surrounding the field and the main road, for an estimated distance of approximately fifteen kilometres.

Following the strategies and the objectives of the National Oil Corporation to raise production rates, the Chairman of the Management Committee held a meeting on the 13 of March, in the presence of the members of the Management Committee, the Director of the Development and Production Department, the Director of the Engineering and Projects Department, and through the closed circuit, the Erawin Field Project Manager, Discussing the work plane presented by the Engineering and Projects Department to start connecting six wells in the Erawin field which to increase the production rates of Zallaf Libya.

NOC reviews with “Zallaf Libya” the second phase of the development of the “Al-Atshan” field

Wednesday 23-2-2022, the chairman of the board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Mustafa Sanalla, met at the NOC’s headquarters in Tripoli with the chairman of the management committee Eng. Hussein Abuselyana of Zallaf Libya oil and gas, in the presence of the board member Mr. Abulgasem Shengeer..The meeting discussed the general activity of Zallaf Libya, by presentation addressed the program of work stages of development of the “Al-Atshan” field and the timeline for drilling specific wells to be drilled during the year, and the company’s plan to complete the integrated development plan and arrange for development drilling operations and prepare future expectations for gas production to supply the Ubari station with gas instead of crude oil, as the meeting included many inquiries and guidance on the implementation of the project in the best way and in the nearest time. For his part, Mr. Mustafa Sanalla stressed that the NOC pays great attention to the project to develop the “Al-Atshan field” and puts it among its priorities, for several reasons, most notably the continuation of burning of 18 thousand barrels per day of the sharara crude to supply alternative fuel to the Ubari station, which leads to the loss of half a billion annually under current oil prices, in addition to the technical problems incurred by the General Electricity Company.
