Handling operations continue at AlKums port

For the seventh day, handling and transferring crude oil pipelines continue from the MV-CLIPPER AEINA vessel ducked at Alkums port to the transit yard of Zallaf Company in the best possible and safest way, this comes as a result of to the commitment of all workers and those in charge of this project by following the recommendations of the CMC to take the highest attention of the company’s safety procedures in transport and handling operations. A team from the departments involved made a field visit to the operations site in order to find out the progress of work and inspect the pipelines status. Dr. Youssef Younes, a senior specialist in corrosion and quality control of projects, informed us that the pipes are in good condition and are examined periodically upon handling,

Mr. Abdunasr AlKbesh, Director of the Materials and Supply Department, said that the operations are going intensively as planned, and will be completed on time, and he also extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to the customs administration of AlKhums Port for their national role and efforts in order to overcome all difficulties.

The official announcement of start of drilling operations in the Erawin field

Wednesday 13 of January 2021, as a result of the great efforts from all departments of the company, Zallaf Libya for Oil and Gas Exploration and Production announces officially the start of drilling operations in the Erawin oil field, which is located in the Murzuq Basin, about 50 kilometers northeast of Alawainat,  using The rig belonging to Fayad Burgan Company contracted through the National Drilling Company.

It is expected that four wells will be drilled as a first stage and tests will be conducted, and then drilling operations will be completed in the field based on the results of these tests.

MV-CLIPPER ARGINA ship arrived to the port of Alkhoms

January 11, 2021, the MV-CLIPPER ship docked at Alkhoms Port, coming from Tianjin Port in China, the cargo of this ship contains crude oil pipelines for Zallaf Libya oil & gas exploration and production, which will be used to transfer crude oil from Erawin field into Sharara field owned by Akakus oil operations. The length of this line extends to About 100 kilometers

The Erawin field is one of the company’s most important fields, and it is located in the Murzuq Basin,

50 km east of Alawainat city.

Among the strategic objectives of the company for this year is to put the Erawin field on production

The CMC, Eng. Hussen Abusliana, holds a meeting with officials from Jowfe Oil Technology Company on the prospect of cooperation

Within the framework of joint cooperation between the national companies owned by N.O.C, a consultative meeting was held today, Monday 11 of January-2021, in the Chairman office, Eng. Hussin Abusliana, with Mr. Suleiman Ajil, a member of the Management Committee for Operations and Maintenance of AJouf Oil Technology , And Mr. Hilal Idris, Director of Operations of Jowfe Company, and Mr. Ashour Issa

The meeting discussed ways and mechanisms of cooperation between Zallaf Libya Oil and Gas Exploration and Production and Jowfe Technology Company, this meeting comes based on the recommendations of N.O.C on exchanging experiences and transferring the knowledge between the national companies.

Wednesday January-6-2021 in Zallaf meeting room , The monthly meeting was held and leaded by  Mr. Chairman, Eng. Hussen Abusliana and members of the Management Committee DR. Abdussalam A. Aziz., MMC for Exploration, Development and Production,Eng. Barkuli Abu Saleh Elhabib , MMC for Engineering and Projects , Eng. Abdulhafed Abuaen , MMC  for Operations and Maintenance, and Mr. Ramadan Ebouda , MMC For human resources, services and supplies, and in the presence of the supervisory board of the company headed by Mr. Ayman Al-Ezmerli, The meeting where dealt with several points, including the company’s strategic goals for the year 2021, the drilling operations in the Al-Chadar field, the start of drilling operations in the Erawn field, and several other technical and administrative issues.

Engineering team cundacted an expedition trip to inspect the area (NC174)

Under the supervision and coordination of the Exploration Department, a team of Zallf engineers formed from the Exploration Department, the Engineering and Projects Department, the Drilling Department, the Health, Safety and Environment Department, , conducted a field visit to the concession area (NC174) in order to inspect and study the situation in terms of terrain and logistical operations prior the start of the exploration operations in the area. Mohamad Saaud, a geophysical coordinator from the Exploration Department,noted that this trip is a practical exploration trip to inspect the area on the ground, in order to prepare for the exploration activities prepared by the company and to examine the difficulties that may face the operations due to the difficult topography of the area, and its sensitivity, as it is an archaeological area and contains a cultural heritage. Which is requires advanced coordination of the All relevant parties so that our operations are successfully performed without any damages, whether to the environment or to the cultural content that characterizes that region, and it is well known that Zallaf Company and its policies adopted, is to carry out its operations successfully with full responsibility and commitment towards the environment and the surrounding area of its operations.

The general assembly meetings of the NOC and Zallf,  hosted this year by Sirte Oil and Gas Company in Briqah city ,on Saturday 26,of December 2020, Leaded by Eng. Mustafa Sanallah, Chairman of the NOC.  (Chairman of the General Assembly) with the presence of Mr. Abulqasim Shanqir,Mr. Jadallah Al Awkali, and Al Amari Mohamed, members of the Board of Directors (members of the General Assembly)

Eng. Hussin Abusliana, Chairman of Zallaf’s Management Committee (through the closed circuit),  Eng, Abdulhafed Abuaen ,Eng, Abdussalam A. Aziz ,Eng, Barkuli Elhabib and Mr.Ramadan Ebouda , Members of Zallaf Management commetee, and general directors and advisors on both sides, the Chairman and members of the Monitoring Authority.

The meeting,  reviewed the company’s various activities in health, safety and environment, exploration activities, geological and reservoir studies, drilling wells, and engineering projects during 2020, and the proposed work and budget for the 2021, in addition to the various projects that the company intends to undertake during 2021. The monitoring authority has also presented its report and responded to the observations .

The meeting also discussed the company’s strategic objectives for 2020, including the completion of the Erawin and Chadar field projects and the preparation to start production from those fields, the completion of the feasibility study for the establishment of the South Refinery and the LPG Extraction Unit for domestic use, in addition to plans to develop the Al-Atshan field, to providing gas to  Ubari power plant, and drilling wells in the exploration zone 174.

Eng. Mustafa Sanallah said in his speech: We count on Zallaf, to be an important step in stabilizing the south, creating sustainability and providing the requirements for a better life for our people in the beloved south, through several strategic projects that it will undertake in the future, and will have a major role in developing and increasing Production of oil and gas.

In this regard, he stressed the importance of preparing plans to develop the Alatshan field, the most prominent challenge for the company, which will work to provide Ubari power station with gas supplies, and praised the company’s efforts to complete the implementation of the SAP system, which is a step in the direction of digital transformation and a distinguished work that is calculated for the company, to be able to do the work professionally as the first national company in the oil sector to use this technology.

He noted the good step taken by the company to give the young men and women the opportunity to take over the leadership of some of the company’s departments, as part of the encouragement to prepare leaders from the new generation to assume responsibility.

The members of the Board of Directors emphasized in their comments to the company’s management committee, the need to intensify field visits, support the efforts of their employees, and communicate with national companies such as Al-Jouf Oil Technology and North Africa Geophysical Exploration for collaboration.

In preparation for the start of drilling operations,The CMC, Eng Hussen Abusliana and MMCs arrived to the Erawin field

Tuesday, 22 of December 2020, CMC, Eng. Hussen Abusliana, arrived at the Erawin field in the southwest. Eng, Hussen accompanied by the members of the Management Committee, Mr. Abdussalam  Aziz, Mr. Abdulhafed Abuaen, Mr. Ramadan Ebouda and Mr. Barkuli Elhabib and a number of department managers and specialists, in order to follow-up and stand on preparations fo the start of the drilling operations in the Erawin field  (NC 200). carried out by the drilling rig 50, of the contractor Fayad Burqin company through the National Company for Drilling and Well Maintenance, and also they conducted a visit into the runway, which is expected to be prepared and equipped in the coming days, beside the proposed area for storing the pipeline and drilling equipment.

Also visiting, Al-Owainat office branch to review the maintenance operations and equipment..

On the this occasion The CMC & MMCs have met with a number of delegates from Al-Owainat city who valued this visit and confirmed their keenness and support for the Zallaf Libya and its operations.

Meeting to discuss the resumption of the technical training program targeting 60 trainees from the south

As a commitment of Zallaf libya Oil and Gas Exploration and Production to the principles of sustainable development and social responsibility projects and programs, a meeting was held on Sunday, 20 Decmber-2020 at Zallaf Company office, regarding the resumption of the program for training 60 technicians, which was suspended for several months due to the  Corona virus pandemic as well as The instructions of the National Oil Corporation to postpone all training sessions for the same reason,  the meeting was held to  discuss mechanisms and to how to apply the precautionary recommendations inside the training and residence halls. The meeting was attended by Mr. Ramadan Ebouda,  MMC for Human and Financial Resources , and Mr. Mohamed Galma a consultant in the Operations Department, Ms. Khawla Sherif, HR manager, Mr. Hazam Dougman, general Services Department manager, Mr. Abdul Salam Ali, HSE Manager, Mr. Hatem Etbiga, Sustainable Development and Media coordinator, Mr. Mohamed Zawia, Training Specialist, and Mr. Ali Al-Ghanai, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Raswa Holding Company, which owns the Sharara Institute in Tmanhant city.

A congratulation message for Sirt oil company on the occasion of increasing its production into 100,000 barrels a day
