Chadar field is located in the Sirte Basin, southeast of the city of Ajdabiya, which is known as the NC126 oil concession. Since oil was discovered in this field some time ago, production facilities did not exist. Therefore, the expected production amount did not encourage the field operators to develop the area in the past. However, after the presence of production facilities and pumping lines near the field, the testing and production of the field became feasible, so the NOC decided to test this field for six months through the surface facilities of the empty lot. Hence, the decision to develop the field based on the testing results.
