National Oil Corporation (NOC) and Zallaf Libya Company for Oil & Gas Exploration and Production discuss the developments of the South Refinery
As part of its continuous efforts to address the hydrocarbon crisis in the South, and in order to establish a project that will bring economic benefits to the region and create new job opportunities, the National Oil Corporation and Zallaf Libya for Oil and Gas Exploration and Production evaluated the studies proposed for the settlement of The Swiss Colombo Refinery into the Southern of Libya. During a meeting held by Dr. Khalifa Rajab, Chairman of the Management Committee of Zallaf Libya, held on Sunday, November 11, 2018, with experts from the Department of Oil Industries in the NOC, that are responsible for studying the settlement of the refinery, and in the presence of the team assigned by Zallaf.
The attendees stressed the importance of security stability and called on the people of the South to cooperate with the NOC and Zallaf to ensure the stability of the security situation in the region. This is important in facilitating the implementation of this important project, which will bring huge benefits to the Libyan South once it is completed.
