Meeting to discuss the resumption of the technical training program targeting 60 trainees from the south

As a commitment of Zallaf libya Oil and Gas Exploration and Production to the principles of sustainable development and social responsibility projects and programs, a meeting was held on Sunday, 20 Decmber-2020 at Zallaf Company office, regarding the resumption of the program for training 60 technicians, which was suspended for several months due to the  Corona virus pandemic as well as The instructions of the National Oil Corporation to postpone all training sessions for the same reason,  the meeting was held to  discuss mechanisms and to how to apply the precautionary recommendations inside the training and residence halls. The meeting was attended by Mr. Ramadan Ebouda,  MMC for Human and Financial Resources , and Mr. Mohamed Galma a consultant in the Operations Department, Ms. Khawla Sherif, HR manager, Mr. Hazam Dougman, general Services Department manager, Mr. Abdul Salam Ali, HSE Manager, Mr. Hatem Etbiga, Sustainable Development and Media coordinator, Mr. Mohamed Zawia, Training Specialist, and Mr. Ali Al-Ghanai, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Raswa Holding Company, which owns the Sharara Institute in Tmanhant city.

Successful fishing and extracting of stucked PACKER

With the grace of Allah and then with the determination of the drilling and well maintenance team of Zallaf Libya for Oil & Gas, the process of fishing and extracting the stucked PACKER from well A2-126 located in the Alchadar field has been successfully completed today.

This PACKER was installed more than 50 years ago.

By extracting this equipment from the well, the company will have a great opportunity to recover and exploit the well and save  additional costs for drilling an alternative well.

On this occasion, we would like to thank everyone who contributed to the successful completion of this process, which is often fraught with risks and the success rate in it does not exceed 35%

Zallaf media department is following the process of the rig NWD50 movement from Misurata city to Erawan oil field

Erawan field is one of the most important fields that Zallaf company has placed among the strategic objectives, of which will be put into production in the near future. Erawan field is located in the Murzuq Basin,  located about 50 km east of Al-Owainat.

It is expected that drilling operations will commence at the end of this year.

A reception and welcome ceremony for the new Chairman of the Management Committee, Eng. Hussein Abusliana

 

Thursday, 3-12-2020, Zallaf Libya for Exploration and Production of oil & gas organized a reception and welcoming ceremony for the new Chairman of the Management Committee, Mr. M. Hussein Abusliana,  in the presence of the members of the Management Committee, Eng. Abdulhafed Abuaen , MMC for Operations and Materials,

Dr Abdussalam A. Aziz., MMC for Exploration, Development and Production, and Eng. Barkuli Abu Saleh Elhabib , MMC for Engineering and Projects, and virtually Mr. Ramadan Ebouda , MMC For human resources, services and supplies, and company department managers, staff and technicians from the rest of the company’s sites and fields, Dr. Abdul Salam Aziz started the opening speech and introduces Eng. Hussein Abusiliana and his practical and scientific experience in the oil & industry. He confirmed that by joining of Eng. Hussein Abusiliana, to the Zallaf family, will add further success and values to the company’s objectives,

The CMC, Eng. Hussein Abusliana, started  speech in which he expressed his deep thanks and appreciation for this occasion, and highlighted the fabulous efforts made by the former CMC, Dr. Khalifa Rajab and the rest of the team to drive Zallaf Company into this stage by using the latest technical and administrative technologies, despite the difficulties and obstacles, most notably the pandemic of covid19, The CMC,Eng. Hussein Abusliana, also praised the concerted efforts and the team spirit to achieve the best results and strategic objectives of the company, and that Zallaf  is full of young and ambitious competencies that can be relied on.

Before the end of the meeting Mr. CMC, received open questions and welcome speech with  congrates from the rest of the employees.

 

Technical meeting between Zallaf Libya and NOC

Tuesday, 17 of November , 2020,  technical meeting was held between N.O.C & Zallaf Libya for Exploration and Production of oil and gas, at the headquarters of N.O.C, and linked virtually with N.O.C branch in Benghazi and Ras Lanuf, with presence of the member of the Board of Directors for the Petroleum Industries, Planning, Computer and Communications of N.O.C, Mr. Jadallah  Al-Awkali, the directors of the General Administration of Petroleum Industries, Mr. Khaled Abdullah, the General Administration of Computer and Communications Mr. Muhammad Salem , the director of departments and specialists of N.O.C, and the CMC of Zallaf Libya Dr. Khalifa Rajab, and  members of the management committee Eng. Barkuli Elhabib MMC for Engineering and Projects, Mr. Ramadan Ebouda, MMC for Finance, Human Resources and Services, departments managers, other Zallaf specialists, and representative of the Libyan Petroleum Institute.

the meeting  discussed the general activity of the company, and issues related to financial and technical matters, and the preventive protocols that had been taken to confront (Covid 19) pandemic, in accordance with the instructions issued by N.O.C to all its companies, and it was keen to implement it in all its different locations since the beginning of the Epidemic spread.

The meeting discussed the construction of the South Refinery project from the technical and financial point of view, and its importance in providing petroleum products (fuel) in the southern regions, which will resolve fuel shortness problem in those areas.

In this regard, N.O.C confirmed that it will continue to work on the implementation of this vital project despite all the current circumstances, in addition to establishing a unit for the extraction of the cooking gas product.

The projects related to communication and information technology were also discussed during this meeting as Zallaf Company is to establish (SAP) Financial Management System As a step in the direction of digital transformation.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Jadallah Al-Awakli thanked and praised the Chairman and the MMC of Zallaf Company, and all its employees, for their efforts in implementing the projects related to communications and information technology.

 

Meeting of Zallaf Libya Oil and Gas Exploration and Production with Repsol exploration and production

Sunday, 18 of October – 2020 a meeting was held at the head quarter of Zallaf Libya office, attended by Dr. Khalifa Abdulsadek , Chairman of the Management Committee of Zallaf, and Mr. Simone Sciamanna , General Manager of Repsol Libya branch, and Mr. Abdussalam Aziz, Zallaf MMC, for Exploration and Production, and Mr. Barkuli Elhabib ,Zallaf MMC, for Engineering and Projects,

The meetings focused initially on reviewing the activities of Zallaf and discussing ways of joint cooperation between the two companies of Zallaf and Repsol in the field of exploration, development and production of oil and gas, in the oil fields of Zallaf Company in  Murzuq and Ghadames basins , and the pipeline Transporting the crude oil to Al-Zawia refinery ,the meeting also discussed benefiting from the experience of Repsol in implementing sustainable development and social responsibility projects in the surround areas of production and operations.

Technical meeting of Zallaf Libya with the General Electricity Company

Monday, 12 of October-2020,  a technical meeting was held at the headquarters of the General Electricity Company in Tripoli, attended by Mr. Barkuli Elhabib, member of the Management Committee for Engineering and Projects, Mr. Nasser Elghoul , project manager of the Atshan oil Field Project, and from the General Electricity Company, member of the Board of Directors, Eng. Radwan Khalil and Director of the Projects Follow-up Department of Gas stations and the double cycle, Eng. Tariq Al-Rayes, the technical meeting focused on supplying Ubari power station with natural gas, following up the procedures for this project and demonstrating the difficulties for the completion of this strategic project, which will contribute to saving the operational costs of this station and support it technically.

The monthly meeting of the Management Committee of Zallaf Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Company

Tuesday 30-of septmber-2020, a meeting was held at Zallaf Company’s headquarters, chaired by Dr. Khalifa Abdulsadek and members of the Management Committee, Mr. Abdussalam Aziz member of the Management Committee for Exploration and Production, Mr. Barkuli Elhabib, member of the Management Committee for Engineering and Projects, Mr. Abdulhafed Abuaen, member of the Management Committee for Operations and Maintenance, Mr. Ramadan Ebouda, member of the Administration Committee for Finance, Human Resources and General Services, and in the presence of the Supervisory Board of the company headed by Mr. Ayman Al-Azmerli,

The meeting dealt with several subjects, including the company’s strategic objectives for the year 2020, and the logistical work for moving the rig to the Erawan field. And the project of linking the Chadar field with Farah field, and a briefing was given on the visit of the team of specialists assigned by the company’s management into Atshan field and presenting its results,

The meeting also went to discuss the working hours system for the  employees in the shadow of the outbreak of the Corona virus pandemic, ensuring to follow the preventive measures, and discussing the possibility of returning to normal official working hours, under the recommendations approved by the National Oil Corporation and the Crisis Committee.

A practical step in the direction of developing Al Atshan oil field

A working team assigned by the Zallaf Company for Oil and Gas Exploration and Production conducted a trip survey in the concession area No. (MN 210) including Al-Atshan oil field and other oil fields currently under development, as well as different facilities such as airstrip , the enter- roads of the concession area, and the topographical nature of the area as a whole.,

The team has also worked on tracking possible routes for a future gas export line that would feed Ubari power plant with gas fuel as of pumping estimation of about 150 million cubic feet per day.

This step comes within the framework of the current practical efforts by the National Oil Corporation (N.O.C) and Zallaf Libya for exploration and production of oil and gas to develop the reserves of oil and gas in the mentioned concession area.

The company has contracted specialized international company to conduct a study of developing the field, after the company’s management adopted it and made it one of its strategic projects for the year 2020.
