Annual Celebration of Zallaf Libya

Zallaf Libya Exploration & Production for Oil & Gas Company celebrated on the occasion of passing a whole year of 2018 with great achievements and activities last Thursday Jan 03, 2019 in Nuqta space located in Tripoli, Dr. Abdussalam Aziz – acting as Chairman of Management committee and the Management Committee Mr. Jomah Kousa, Dr. Mohamed Dangou and Mr. Barkuli Elhabib appreciated and thanked all employees for their effort and dedication, in addition, they awarded some of the employees who were potential, innovator and their performance were outstanding, on the top of them, they appreciated the effort of Dr. Khalifa Rajab Abdulsadek – Chairman of Management Committee for his cooperation to add refining activates and get more filed locations for Zallaf company. All staff meeting – with HSSE & HR Monthly Awareness Training

HSE Awareness Increase Monthly Staff Meeting:

An HSSE Awareness Monthly Staff Meeting: an awareness HSSE Monthly Staff Meeting was held by the HSE Department at Zallaf Office in November 2018. The Awareness HSE presentations were given on HSSE initiatives for Zallaf Office – such as firefighting tactics & emergency evacuation , where participants engaged in impassioned discussion on creating accident-free workplaces that promote the safety and physical health of Zallaf employees.

HR Awareness Increase Monthly Staff Meeting:

A Human Resources (HR) awareness session was held by the HR Team at Zallaf Offices in November 2018. The Awareness Session covered many HR topics – including medical cover – and, other topics – that are essential for employees and are of relevance to Zallaf HR Policy. The session aimed at improving communication between the HR Department & Zallaf Employees. The HR Department have outlined some of the HR manual templates to achieve compliance with Zallaf HR Manual.

New staff were welcomed to the session & to Zallaf.

A technical workshop held between Zallaf and the NOC in conjunction with the Zallaf assigned concessions

A technical workshop was held between the Specialists from the exploration department within the NOC and their counterparts from Zallaf Libya. The meeting was held on Tuesday 13/11/2018 at Zallaf headquarters. The workshop was aimed to discuss the various options for the seismic proposal intended for the Zallaf Concessions within Murzq and Gudamis Basin. Other issues & problems pertinent to the proposal were also discussed in the workshop – ensuring; ways and options of solving those problems. At the end of the workshop it was agreed by the participants that Zallaf Exploration Department would carry-on developing the proposed plans; and to re-present them to the NOC – including, recommendations of amendments. NOC team emphasis to hold other workshops to reach to the optimum results.

National Oil Corporation (NOC) and Zallaf Libya Company for Oil & Gas Exploration and Production discuss the developments of the South Refinery

As part of its continuous efforts to address the hydrocarbon crisis in the South, and in order to establish a project that will bring economic benefits to the region and create new job opportunities, the National Oil Corporation and Zallaf Libya for Oil and Gas Exploration and Production evaluated the studies proposed for the settlement of The Swiss Colombo Refinery into the Southern of Libya. During a meeting held by Dr. Khalifa Rajab, Chairman of the Management Committee of Zallaf Libya, held on Sunday, November 11, 2018, with experts from the Department of Oil Industries in the NOC, that are responsible for studying the settlement of the refinery, and in the presence of the team assigned by Zallaf.

The attendees stressed the importance of security stability and called on the people of the South to cooperate with the NOC and Zallaf to ensure the stability of the security situation in the region. This is important in facilitating the implementation of this important project, which will bring huge benefits to the Libyan South once it is completed.

Visit to Repsol Oil Company

Dr. Khalifa Rajab Chairman of Management Committee, and as part of a delegation that included Eng. Mustafa Sanallah, Chairman of the National Oil Corporation and Eng. Abolkassim Shenfeer, Member of the Board of Directors and Exploration, conducted a working visit to Repsol Oil Company’s main office in Madrid, Spain. The delegation visited the center for research & development, and training and learned about the latest technologies in the oil & gas industry to produce and manufacture oil & gas. Additionally, the delegation visited Respol’s Petrochemical Plant in Tarragona city, where they learned about the technology involved in this sector — finally, agreeing to arrange future visits to the plant.

As a part of technical cooperation between national companies, Zallaf LIBYA has visited Sirte Oil Company in Brega main office on 12-15 May 2018

Zallaf Libya participates in the Benghazi International Forum and Exhibition of Oil & Gas

On October, 24-26, 2018, Zallaf participated in the Benghazi International Forum and Exhibition of Oil & Gas. The conference and exhibition were inaugurated by Eng. Mustafa Sanalla, Chairman of the National Oil Corporation and attended by a high-level delegation including Dr. Khalifa Rajab, Chairman of the Management Committee for Zallaf Libya, and other Chairmen of Management of Committees of other NOC Subsidiary Companies. Zallaf Libya – participated by presenting two scientific papers in the fields of (Exploration and Reservoir Engineering) as well as, by upholding a pavilion at the exhibition; where the company introduced, its current activities, projects, strategies and future operations, and its commitment to the applications of occupational health and safety systems and sustainable development programs. The conference and exhibition were a success, well-coordinated and regulated, which adds to the NOC successes.

The Graduation Ceremony for the 46th batch of PTQI

The chairman of management committee of Zallaf Libya Exploration and Production of Oil and Gas, Dr. Khalifa Abdulsadek, attended the graduation ceremony for the 46^th batch held at the Petroleum Training & Qualifying Institute yesterday morning, Tuesday 24^th of July 2018. The graduates were awarded their degrees with the attendance of the chairman of board of the NOC and the member of board for management, finance and services, in addition to other oil companies’ chairmen of management committees and the families of the graduates.

NOC awards exploration blocks to Zallaf Oil & Gas

The National Oil Corporation (NOC) has allocated sites to Zalaf Oil & Gas Exploration and Production Company to begin its oil and gas exploration.

On its website, the NOC said that during the meeting of the Chairman of the National Oil Corporation Mustafa Sanallah with the Chairman of Zalaf management committee, Khalifa Rajab, on Tuesday, other undeveloped oilfields were placed at the company’s disposal, which includes sedimentary basins in Murzuk, Ghadames, and Sirte.
